Press Release – Manor Mill
I designed this short press release to notify the community of an upcoming event. The goal was to make it clear and concise; I’ve been told the average person’s attention span is only about eight seconds. By reading the headline, the audience immediately knows when Jane Austen Day returns to northern Baltimore County. And while the event is almost a month away, only 7 tickets remained when I checked this morning – their event is quite popular with their ardent Austen fanbase.
KRR note: this is a snippet of the JPEG file; it isn’t linked…I didn’t want to you to take your frustration out on your keyboard unnecessarily.
BTW, Manor Mill is a very cool venue. The property was built in 1742 and has earned a spot on the national register of historic landmarks. Prior to the transformation into a beautifully appointed creative artist hangout, this was a cider mill. We used to ride our horses over and imbibe. We weren’t technically drinking & driving because our horses were sober…although both our horses do enjoy a taste of beer and a handful of Doritos. Hey, nothing but the best for our noble steads.
Check out all the fun things Manor Mill offers the community here. There’s yoga, meditation, woodworking, live performances, art shows, book readings, and a plethora of workshops…if there’s something that can be taught, you can learn it at Manor Mill.
