"A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one."

- George R. R. Martin

I used to have a unique anxiety: I worried about being somewhere and not having a book to read or listen to, like on an airplane, in a waiting room, in the grocery store.

Thank goodness for libraries, bookstores, Audible, Kindles, and every author that took the time to craft magic for us...they helped convert my dread to well-read.

Below are some of my favorite books.
